You’ll be invited prior to the conference to schedule your appointment and submit an excerpt from your manuscript. Time-slots are limited. Reserve early.

We ask that you sign up for not more than three total individual sessions, including one-on-one agent sessions and publishing consultations. These sessions are held during the conference and are available only to conference attendees.

15 Minute One-On-One Session with literary agent Michelle Tessler.


 

Michelle Tessler founded the boutique Tessler Literary Agency in 2004. She represents a select number of award-winning, best-selling, and emerging authors in both fiction and non-fiction. She looks for fresh, original writing that has a compelling point of view and voice.

In fiction, she  represent literary, women’s, and commercial.   In non-fiction, she represents narrative, popular science/nature, memoir, history, psychology, business, biography, food, and travel.

Michelle is editorially driven, and works with memoirists and novelists on editing their manuscripts before submission and positioning their work. She likewise works closely with clients to craft winning book proposals that will not only interest acquiring editors, but also satisfy the concerns of a publishers’ marketing and publicity staff.
